Andy Murray may have missed out in Paris, but the world number two will of course be motivated for victories in a busy summer of tennis with three prizes he has claimed before up for grabs again.
Wimbledon, the Rio Olympics and the U.S Open still remain in the latter half of the season, but starting first in this jam-packed summer of sport is Euro 2016, and it is football that we centre on here.
Last week in Paris, in his off-time between reaching another major final, Andy – thanks to his 2016 sponsor’s Standard Life, was able to play a spot of Petanque with an invincible – former Arsenal midfielder Robert Pires.
In the video below, the pair discuss the tournament favourites for Euro 2016 (Pires unsurprisingly tips France for greatness) as well as Arsenal’s prospects, signings and repeated triumph over rivals Spurs.
The video is the second in a series by Standard Life, as part of their ‘Master Your Dreams’ campaign encapsulating ambition and commitment to excellence. Through this, Murray meets sports people he admires for their own commitment and sacrifice to master their own dreams.
