Some brave fightbacks in the world group couldn’t halt the seeded tide and things went pretty much as expected when looking at the names missing from some of the teams here.
Highlights saw Spain briefly threatened by the Brits, Belgium had the hardest fought of wins over Hungary, and Italy have a typically dramatic victory over the brave Japanese.
