It still boggles that the last great tennis game, Top Spin 4 is 7 years old, nothing has challenged it in that time but in Tennis World Tour we could have a new contender.
Gameplay footage had been lacking until only recently, and even that has been more of a developmental diary piece showcasing the now standard motion capture tech.
It looks good, but whether because technology hasn’t moved on in such a great leap since the last gen or if it is due to alot of 2K’s Top Spin team being involved here again: not a game changer visually.
Early days of course, but if nothing else it will be nice to have an up to date roster again, let’s just hope a single player campaign is given equal attention as online facilities.
