Thiem powers past a hamstring hampered Zverev

Keys edges plucky Putintseva
In setting up a repeat of last year’s US Open finale, Madison Keys will meet Sloane in the semi final after a gutsy victory over the young star.
Putintseva will have won many hearts with her un-put-downable spirit and positive mindset against the endless barrage from the other side of the net.
Still, Keys it was who utilised her greater experience to prevail in a good contest.
